My 3rd grade class loves to incorporate technology throughout their day as much as possible. Technology enhances their learning experiences and positively effects their motivation in the classroom. There are so many fantastic digital resources for teachers to use to assess student growth and success, differentiate their instruction, and also resources that allow for times of engaging competition...all while learning! These Chromebooks will improve the class's learning experiences by giving them access to these resources at any time! Currently, my class has access to the school's computer lab once a week, and we only have one desktop computer in the classroom which all 18 students have to share. With these Chromebooks, I will be able to have 4 students at a time on a device which will greatly improve my small group stations in reading, writing, and math.
