3-D hands-on notebooks are great to stimulate learning and memory. These will be a fun project for the class that will continue throughout the whole year. Each student maintains their own notebook. Students really have a blast creating their notebooks. These books serve to help students both learn and review. Kids make study pages that are colored and have fold out and pop-up parts to create interest. The following topics are covered in the notebooks: Macromolecules, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, nitrogen cycle, carbon cycle, food webs, food pyramids, trophic levels, ecology, carrying capacity, DNA, Central Dogma, mutations, mitosis, meiosis, Punnett Squares, pedigree charts, and evolution.
