Students are more engaged when they are comfortable. The classroom climate is very important to have a culture of learning. This is true for physical comfort as well. There is a reason why Starbucks has a collaborative, comfortable, flexible seating setup. Standard desks situated in rows do not foster open communication and collaboration​ and are not comfortable. As long as a students' postures and movements do not disrupt others learning and comfort, they should literally be allowed to choose any number of places to land in the classroom. This project will allow for Starbucks-like options around the classroom for students to select as a working environment for collaboration.
