The Lego materials donated will make a difference for my students by enabling them to participate in robotics practice twice a week. Students will build, program and find solutions to problems through trial and error, collaboration and managing emotions. The donated Lego robotic supplies for the students practice will provide the necessary baseline of knowledge/skills for competitions. Ultimately, students will demonstrate the learned skills in competitions with peers to problem solve, collaborate and find solutions to presented challenges. The skills learned using Lego Robotics will prove invaluable in building leadership, social interactions, and dealing with both success and failure gracefully.
