Children are drawn to colorful and clean classrooms. A new, clean, and colorful classroom rug will make the focal point of my whole group classroom instruction much more inviting. Students spend a lot of instructional time on the classroom carpet. They are given a "carpet spot" at the beginning of each school year. They sit on their spot at the beginning of each lesson. I spent a lot of time and money on new bulletin boards and curtains to spruce up my dated classroom. Unfortunately, my old, stained rug does not coordinate with my bright and clean classroom. A new rug will complete my bright and cheery classroom environment.
