Our students need a new rug for their learning area and classroom library, so they can have a new, clean and comfortable place to sit while they are learning and reading in the class library. New classroom rugs will help to foster a love of learning and promote student engagement in our classroom! Students can spread out during independent reading, work on group projects, and have rug spots to sit at during mini lessons and whole group instruction. Students are often better able to concentrate when sitting at the rug for read alouds and Reading and Writing Workshop. A rug also offers alternative seating arrangements for students require varied learning environments.

About my class
