Alternative seating will give my students a choice for my alternative classroom. This is a major benefit. This past year, I have allowed my students to move around the room when they are working independently. I have seen a drastic difference in the quality of their work. They seem to focus more. I have students that have a really hard time sitting still. They are very fidgety. I feel like the wobble stools would benefit those students without being a major distraction in the classroom. The wobble stool would allow them to get the movement that they need to focus.
