The students that I work with are from a low-income community and are economically disadvantaged. The students are also from a variety of backgrounds and are second language learners. Many of the students that I work with struggle to meet grade level expectations. Our school is a Title I school that struggles to provide engaging resources and materials to the students due to funding and budget cuts.
