Most school drumlines have 10-12 students. Our middle school drumline for the 2019-2020 school year has 18 students in grades 7 and 8! I am always ready to instruct the students and get them ready for performing in the fall, but we are slightly short on percussion equipment. I believe that every student in the band needs to have fun and contribute to the music with their instrument. I would love to create a new section of percussionists for next fall with some new equipment and some unique sounds. This would allow each student to participate fully, even with our growth!
