I can't wait to see their excitement when they walk into my classroom and see furniture that reflects their needs. They will be more engaged than ever! Not only will these stools help my middle schoolers to get some of their physical needs met, but they will also be able to practice responsible decision making and care. Flexible seating is shown to increase engagement, promote better health, and increase academic performance. These flexible seating options will make my students excited to enter our classroom each day. It will make our classroom feel more like a home. A place where they are comfortable both physically and emotionally. Middle school can be an emotional time for students, and having seating that reflects them is just one more way that I can support their hunger for learning.
