Wobble chairs and bouncy ball chairs will give my students the ability to move while they are seated. Giving my students movement and sensory input will centralize their focus on what skills we are working on and lessen the distraction of feeling the need to move. These wobble chairs and bouncy chairs will also minimize the amount of time students fidget during work because they are able "fidget" in a different way. With this flexible seating, I can only imagine the amount of focus and growth I will see in my students! With this flexible seating, I can only imagine the amount of focus and growth I will see in my students! I currently use one wobble chair and two bouncy ball chairs with my students. They either get to use them if there is an extreme need for movement one day or as a reward for good behavior. All of my students would benefit by using a wobble chair or bouncy seat instead of a regular chair to increase focus, lessen distractions, and increase growth in their academics!
