Playing is a powerful tool in education, but finding high quality and engaging games for upper elementary students can be a challenge. Students benefit from playing to reinforce previous knowledge and tackle new skills that may have appeared challenging in a traditional method of learning. During their English Language Arts instruction, my students will focus on expanding their vocabulary, understanding literature, and building upon their writing abilities. I would love for my students to have fun and be excited while applying the skills they have learned in the classroom.
