My students are ESL learner's. They work hard in the class and they learn quickly, but they need to see that reading is for fun too. Learning to enjoy reading will help them see the benefits of a good education and the importance of gaining knowledge. I have very few books in my classroom library and by expanding my offerings to the students I will be able to read with them as well as to have them enjoy and relax during silent reading during the class time. Sharing books with their classmates, friends and siblings will expand open discussions and help to enhance their English speaking too.
