Our art department would like to kick off the new year with a school wide art project. We will construct a mural using painters tape. Why tape? The material is low cost and not permanent. The impact on the janitorial and maintenance staff is low and the project can be done multiple times throughout the school year. Students will work together in groups to create large inspirational images throughout the school the entire campus can enjoy. This is a team building assignment to get the students up and out of the classroom. Students will work together to solve creative problems and share ideas. No matter the skill level everyone can join in the creating and application process. Everyone is encouraged to join in, art student or not.
