I teach an energetic and eager group of first and second grade students in a Title I school. My students come from many different cultural backgrounds, speaking languages such as Vietnamese, Cantonese, Spanish, and Chinese. Our classroom is always full of movement, reflection, imagination, and growth. These first and second graders are eager to learn and expand their knowledge and skills in language arts, math, science, art, and technology. They practice important habits every day: be proactive, begin with the end in mind, put first things first, think win-win, seek first to understand than to be understood, synergize, and sharpen the saw. It's exciting to see their young minds nurtured into responsible and caring individuals.

About my class
