My gifted and talented classroom is an environment that asks students to extend their learning and challenge their thinking beyond the curriculum. Students are engaged as problem solvers, explorers, and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively to show products of their learning. The uniqueness of each individual student in my rooms is something that is to be celebrated; as all of them have great ideas on how to extend their learning. I'd love to give them the opportunity to combine different skills and learning opportunities through the use of STEM bins. STEM bins will combine various subjects and allow students to showcase skills that go beyond the science and math curriculum by being able to integrate technology, the engineering process and writing into their daily learning.
