Math students need to be able to connect the material to the real world. The topic students struggle with the most in geometry is proofs. Using the game of Uno my students can notice patterns of deductive reasoning to get from one card to the other. My school is going one to one next year, meaning every student will receive a laptop to bring to school and take home every day. To support the technical upgrade, my students will need a document camera. Using this camera students can show their work to the entire class as well as the teacher displaying an assignment or answer key.
