"We get to play UKULELES?” This was the most common reaction I received when I told each of my four 5th grade music classes that we had enough ukuleles for students to share one with a partner. 5th grade students have the opportunity to create and perform music in a way that is exciting for them with ukuleles. Currently, they must share an instrument with a partner, and I just know that their skills will flourish if they have the opportunity to each play their own! Help provide these great students with instruments that are relevant and inspiring to them.
