Many young people are interested in the music industry with no realistic idea of how to access their dreams . Through an after-school school club I hope to create a student-run record label to give students at my school the power and agency to create. This is a unique opportunity that many students have generally never been exposed to. These tools will make a difference in my students' success because equipment is often the largest road block to creating music. The record label I am associated with is donating their time and thus lack the resources to provide adequate equipment.
