All students in our school community participate in community building circles during their foundation classes. During this time, circle is used to help students dig deeper into Social and Emotional Learning. The donations of the Breathing Spheres will help students to focus on their breathing so they can focus on the present and be able to bring their full authentic selfs to the Circle. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process of acquiring the skills to recognize and manage emotions). In addition, SEL also teaches students to develop caring and concerns for others, establish positive relationships, make responsible decisions, and learn how to handle challenging situations effectively.

About my class
