The materials chosen for my project will allow me to work with my students by having fun in speech! Speech made easy is my title because its easy to for me to teach, and students to learn when its done through interactive play. I want my students to enjoy coming to speech class and use great conversational speech skills by using games, and craft activities. It is important for me to keep my classes enjoyable and allow natural opportunities for students to be able to communicate. Many years ago speech sessions were simple drill routines using worksheets. Students were able to produce good speech skills in isolation, and words, but when they began to speak in conversation the worksheets were not proving to be fundamentally sound because conversation was not addressed with drill only therapy activities. I began using games and more practical session therapy technique activities in order to increase generalization and conversational speech skills.
