Distance learning this year has made connecting with students extremely difficult. Putting a new chapter book in my students' hands will not only get them off a computer but also take them on an incredible journey of one country's determination to do the right thing. These books will allow my students to find a cozy spot at home and take an incredible journey back in time. When my students have finished reading a chapter or two they will be able to meet virtually and discuss the novel. These discussions will help my students make connections and form a bond around an award-winning novel, Number the Stars.

About my class
