Help me give the opportunity to improve social skills through dramatic play. My students will use the requested items to engage in pretend play that is developmentally appropriate and will improve their social skills. Adding these babies to our "Home Living" area will allow children to make sense of the world they live in by mimicking some of the behaviors they see in their normal lives. The accessories will also enhance their pretend play experience. Children often act out things that they witness in their life experiences. Parenting, caring for people, planning and organizing, and being leaders are all skills that come out of this type of dramatic play. The make believe interactions my students have in kindergarten dramatic play, are safe ways to try out some of the real life interactions they will encounter in their real lives.
