Picture yourself in the perfect learning environment. What are some key things you imagine? How's the lighting? Is the room cold? What colors do you see? What I want for my students is to not only make learning fun and exciting, but I want it to be a comfortable home away from home. A place where their ideas come to life in a room that is designed to enable them to reach their full potential. In our classroom community, we thrive in floor time where we share ideas, understand new concepts, and come together as a class. This area needs a nice rug that is roomy enough for each student to have a spot, and comfortable enough for them to relax a little. Sitting on the cold floor doesn't entice creative learning very well. Do you ever get tired of sitting at regular desk or an uncomfortable chair? My students feel the same way. With that being said, these black ball bounce chairs enable them to get a little more comfortable and not be so stiff. They would absolutely love these! I am also in the process of building my classroom library and these beautiful mint colored bean bags would go perfect! Seeing a student sit down comfortably while engrossing themselves in a new story is one of the best sites to see.
