The 4th and 5th grade students at our STEM school are eager to learn about coding, robotics, communication, and collaboration by participating in LEGO league. We have inquisitive students who are eager to be a part of experiences like LEGO league. We currently do not have a laptop and are at a disadvantage compared to other teams. Even with our fundraising efforts, we come up short for how to support all students who want to join the team. Therefore, we are hoping for donations to purchase a laptop we can use to program our LEGO League robot. This laptop will be used exclusively by our students as they learn how to program our robot and compete against other teams’ robots. We also hope other community fundraising efforts will offset the cost of the entrance fee so more students can participate in this program.
