My day is filled with meeting my student’s medical and physical needs. Hungry students have trouble concentrating in class and students with poor hygiene are often ostracized. Without feminine supplies students stay home rather than be embarrassed, losing out on learning opportunities. Help me give my students hygiene products and supplemental snacks. They need to concentrate on learning rather than worrying about their empty stomachs or lack of feminine hygiene products. I have diabetic students that need to be able to count on my having food available to keep their blood sugar up. I have immigrant students that will stay home if they don't have access to feminine hygiene products. Help me prepare them to learn and grow.
