My students are often second language learners struggling in the classroom with their reading. I work with their families and siblings to support them in phonics, vocabulary, sight word recognition, choosing the right book and progressing in their comprehension. We use the i-Ready program. Much of the time in my classroom is spent on the computer in small pull-out groups.
