These totes will be used instead of paper folders to keep student supplies together during reading group. These folders are easily ripped, folded, and crumpled which makes it hard for the students to keep their supplies organized and neat. Right now we go through about 6 sets of folders for each group every year - a horrible waste that can be fixed by purchasing these totes one time to be used year after year. This will give us a chance to use our budget money on other supplies to enhance our lessons instead of using them to purchase folders that do not last.
