Majority of striving readers don't have even 1 book at home to read that is on their level. In order for striving readers to thrive, they need to have more experience reading, especially at home. My goal of this project is to gift the striving readers I work with free books throughout the year for them to own and read at home! Research shows that students who read at least 20 minutes every night improve significantly in reading and in other areas of school. My goal is to enable my readers to have this opportunity by putting books in their hands.

About my class
