Picture a classroom with bright colors, engaged students, and differentiated learning! I strive everyday to accomplish these goals for my students. The only thing missing is...flexible seating. I have read many studies about the need for flexible seating and the benefits. As a teacher I know that I need to differentiate my teaching, so why are we not differentiating our seating within the classroom. Some students learn best at a desk on a stool, some sitting on the floor, some bouncing on an exercise ball. I want to match my classroom environment to the teaching being done in the classroom. Please help me to accomplish my goals for my students!
