I have an amazing group of students this year! They are hard workers and are extremely cooperative. They love learning and are excited about everything we do. Academically, I have a handful of students who I am very concerned about, both academically and socially. Three are performing at kindergarten levels in all areas, one speaks no English and another child is hard of hearing. I see this as a year to challenge myself to help them make huge strides. Our school is a mix of high, medium and low socioeconomic families. With this, comes a group of students who have varying degrees of opportunities and luxuries at home, such as technology. I am working to provide enriching activities in the classroom for everyone so even those who are less privileged can benefit. I would love to add technology to my classroom to help my whole class, while focusing on my low performing students, my EL child and my hard of hearing child.
