We have a huge outdoor garden on the Big Island of Hawaii! We have in-ground beds, a plant nursery, a chalkboard, papaya trees for shade, a Hawaiian hale (traditional structure), a Hawaiian plant section and so much more! We provide our students with engaging project-based activities. Over the years as we continue to serve more students, we need more high-quality supplies in the garden. Our wooden benches our rotting away, and we would love enough long-lasting benches to seat entire classes for the years to come. We have lots of supplies, but often students have to share some of the basics like watering cans or magnifying glasses. With these supplies, our project groups will be able to use their own tools and have more time observing and learning in the garden!
