Our students need books to help them get excited to learn how to read. The library at our school is out of date and a lot of the books are missing pages or the pages fall out all the time. We would like to get new books as a grade level to help our student learn why reading is fun. We also included journals for them to write about the books they are reading. This will help them learn how to summarize and retell a story in their own words. With this we think that it will help our reading scores.
