My project this year is to have five different seating options for my students. This means finding a way to purchase rugs, chairs, stools, benches, pillows, and loungers. This is all referred to as alternative seating. Having the pillows and loungers for seating will be a good start to allow students to be comfortable in their learning environment. That comfort will in turn increase their chances for success in academics. We all want to be comfortable, and we focus better when we are. You will be helping a child to succeed when you help to fund this project. Any and all help you can give is greatly appreciated, not only by me, but my students as well.
