Our Library is more than just a place to check out a book. We are building it to be a place that students can be creative, a place that they can explore and try things that they may otherwise not have the opportunity to do. Giving students the ability to take that curiosity of how something works, and put it into practice. LEGOS give students of all ages the ability to experiment, create and be curious. The LEGO wall is not only a place to be creative thinkers, but also a tool to encourage students to utilize the Library Maker Space as a whole. Making that connection between books and activities is a way to build that curiosity, and further explore a topic that they may otherwise never have thought about.

About my class
