My students spend the year showing their creativity through various ELA projects. I would love to give my students the opportunity to wear their work! They can choose to make a shirt or vinyl sticker to put on just about anything. Concrete poems are just one example of a perfect way to make a one of a kind t-shirt. They work so hard and take pride in their projects. This would be an awesome reward! Some other examples of projects to promote literacy could be creating something about their favorite author, book, or character. Those would make great designs for stickers or iron-on projects. I can already picture the excitement over Harry Potter, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and more!
