In my classroom, we use our iPads daily for lessons, research, typing, presentations, and videos. Our school has one-to-one iPads for students. We also incorporate text-to-speech so kids can read passages from their iPad. Often headphones break in my classroom and students have to go without sound. If every child had working headphones we could incorporate so much more into learning with technology. If each student had working headphones and did not have to worry about them breaking, it would allow for me to set up numerous lessons and be able to differentiate on the iPads while using less paper to meet their learning needs.
