Each day I meet with small groups around the classroom to support students with their work. I meet with small groups throughout the day for math, reading, writing conferences, and table talk. Having a conference table will allow us to have a special meeting place in the classroom. This conference table will have many functions, but the essential purpose is to bring students together in an area that is designed to promote teamwork. Everyone will be able to hear and see each other, which helps our students stay focused. There will be fewer distractions. This is a great way to provide a comfortable learning environment.
