My students are intelligent, enthusiastic, & excited to learn about Visual Art. They range in age from 14 to 18. My students come from various backgrounds & all learning abilities. Yet, all of them want to learn to be tech savvy in our 21st Century Digital World. They start out unsure of technology. As their art teacher, each year I teach them new skills to ensure they progress as they learn more & more about Visual Art, Artists, & the world around them. But I also want to open the world of Digital Learning to them as well. As we research & create artwork in class they begin to see how to relate to each other, the world of art, & increase their self-esteem. I love to see them begin to build relationships, collaborate, & increase their art skills. Technology is the key for them to begin to see the larger world outside of our community & how they can have a real impact on the world as a future digital citizen.

About my class
