My students have to complete 2 Honors Capstone projects each year. This includes a research paper, and then they have to design a symbolic representation of their historic event of choice. Most of my student have never painted and desire to try. I have amazing examples of students who have painted for the first time and create masterpieces that go beyond even what they thought they could do. I want to assist them in whatever way I can. Many of them cannot afford these art supplies and giving them this will allow them to showcase their knowledge and skill. I purchase supplies as much as I can but I cannot help every student.
