Having students in 3 different grade and ability levels makes instruction difficult. I often do not have multiples of materials that I would need in order to show the entire class. I have to modify many of the materials that are given to my students to meet their level. With an Elmo, I would be able to put the item under the camera so the entire class can see at once. I use visual aids in almost every lesson that I teach so I can support all students in my classroom with different styles of learning. Many of my students need to see what I am doing so they can learn through my modeling. This Elmo would be very useful when reading different texts and it would allow me to model highlighting text as we read.
