My AP and advanced students are extremely interested in digital art. In today's technologically inclined world, having access to this technology would give them the opportunity to explore digital art and it's capabilities in a professional way like never before! My AP class puts so much work into creating a professional portfolio, and this project would allow them to expand beyond their current limits. Their portfolios are self-driven and my students are intrinsically motivated to be successful in their art. Giving them access to professional materials helps them take themselves more seriously, and their artwork definitely shows their growth and learning.
