The items I have requested are items that will be used to make our classroom the best it can be. I want to make this a classroom my kids feel comfortable and allow them to be successful! The bean bag is a big item I have been really wanting to get because its something my kids can use when they need to calm down or take a minute to relax, which is very important in a Autistic Classroom. I also want to incorporate music into my room as well. I think using rhythm sticks, bells and drums will be a great way to teach my kiddos how to follow directions. Music has always been beneficial for all students, especially those with Autism. My kids love to dance and sing already and I know they would love to make their own music. The ball pit balls and pool is an item I think would really make our sensory POP! I think the kiddos would love it and it would be something that could be used as a reward!
