Being seated in regular chairs and desks can be a challenge for any person. The majority of students that come into my math class are no exception. They are full of energy and in dire need of a why to help them focus. Active seating will allow the students the flexibility of having some constant motion while being engaged in class activities. Wobble chairs, ball chairs, and air cushions will be a great addition to their math class! Incentives have been a great motivator for many students. They work hard in class and enjoy a trip to the treasure box after a lesson is complete. Something as simple as a pencil, pen, eraser or squishy toy can bring great smiles to their face.
