Our current headphones are not kindergarten-proof and keep breaking. They're also low quality so it's hard for the kids to hear when the rest of the class is working in the background. These new headphones are the right size, durable, and high quality! (The teacher next door has them and says they are wonderful!) Working on the computers helps our class with everything from learning letters at the beginning of the year to researching an ocean animal at the end of the year so it's very important that the kids are able to hear what they're doing! Children learn through play. A classroom I volunteered in during college had Magnatiles and it was amazing to see what the kids could make with them and how the tiles helped them to understand how 3D shapes were composed. They loved getting to be architects and experiment with how to use the magnetic tiles to build different types of structures. I would love for my class to have the same enrichment and excitement about engineering!
