Have you ever looked at a classroom and did NOT see your life or culture represented? Our classroom needs a little more diversity. We need to represent our classroom families in a more unique way. The multicultural clothing and equipment for children with special needs help us to create conversations about cultures outside of our own. We will give the kids an outlet for conversation and acceptance of those we are different from them. We will discuss what the clothing and equipment are called as well as what and when they are used. These items help include our classroom diversity in a broader sense within the classroom.
