This project aims to increase the amount of expository text in my classroom for my students to be exposed to. This will increase their vocabulary, understanding of content knowledge and their reading ability. Each book for this project was specifically chosen because it related to part of the math, science, social studies or literacy core in 3rd grade. These books will be a huge benefit to my students exposure and experience with the core curriculum. They will be read aloud by myself, as well as independently by the students. With these books I will be able to help open worlds for my students that would not be possible without these materials.
