These materials will provide my learners with hands on opportunities to explore learning in new ways. Materials will be incorporated into team learning activities, individual exploration, and manipulatives for whole group lessons. Having new items will allow for enhanced engagement and exploration of not only math skills, but will allow for STEM in the classroom. Learners will be able to use these materials during stations, as well as self directed learning. This project will help me to start Friday exploration time. During this time, learners will be able to select materials that they want to use in order to meet a challenge that they are given. Sometimes, they will also have the option of designing their own challenge.
