I had started flexible seating with my second graders last year and would like to expand my options for these very fidgety 7 and 8 year olds who are looking to move and be comfortable in the classroom. Gone are the days of rows and rows of desks. I find in second grade we have less time for movement and flexible seating such as wobble seats, rocker chairs, couches, etc. is a great way to make the classroom feel more homey and FLEXIBLE! I know this will help my second graders feel like they are learning in an environment that will help them work and explore to their best abilities.
