These six tablets will be used for students during independent work time. Students have an hour a day to work on their reading skills independently. During that time students are reading, writing and practicing building words. I would like to use these tablets to help build those skills in a new and exciting way! These six tablets will be used in a variety of ways throughout the school year improving student reading. Students will be hearing stories read to them. They also will answer comprehension questions about the story they read. Students can practice skills anywhere from tracing letters at the beginning of the year to building words using the correct sounds. These tablets will also be used during our math time for my advanced students. There are times when I need to work with students who need individualized instruction. During this time my advanced students will have the opportunity to grow in their math learning through different apps.
